PDP crisis: Fayose and Muazu trade words On Twitter

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State has been making allegations that the PDP Chairman, Adamu Muazu was working for the opposition party and contributed to the victory of the APC at the recently held general elections in the country.

As usual, he said he has ‘evidence’.

Once again, the power of social media came to play as Muazu chose the platform to air his frustration with the Ekiti State Governor. However, it is noteworthy that those tweets might not have been his personal opinion as he signs his own tweets with #AM.

Here was the message, the twitter account @Muazuaa put out.

Fayose: I have evidence that Muazu worked for APC.

We hope it's not the kind of evidence he once said he had that Buhari was dying?

You will all recall that the National Chairman warned members of our Presidential Campaign Org to stop the hate campaign.

The National chairman campaigned for Governor Fayose, defended him & was at his inauguration & will continue to support him & Ekiti people.

In the true spirit of Nigerian Twitter, Fayose responded with some subs.

Disloyalty: A leader who takes to twitter to slight a party member but never did the same with or to the opponent.

    God sees our hearts.

This is not the time for mudslinging but truth is never out of season. PDP Online: be assured that PDP will emerge stronger from all issues.

    — Peter Ayodele Fayose (@GovAyoFayose) May 7, 2015

Any strong words we have are reserved only for our opponents and only in political season. This is now the time to unite for PDP and Nigeria

    — Peter Ayodele Fayose (@GovAyoFayose) May 7, 2015

I have seen defeat, I have seen victory – nothing is dear to me now except true service to our people which is what politics should be.
