Android Device Manager has been renamed Find My Device by Google.

This change was announced at the ongoing Google I/O (simply I/O) event which is an annual developer conference held by Google in San Francisco.

The new version of the app is 2.0.014, replacing the 2-year-old version 1.4.4. The only difference is the app’s User Interface that has been refreshed and it now shows which devices on your Google account are available to find at the top.

Find My Device (Android Device Manager) is designed to help phone owners locate any lost or stolen Android smartphone. It can also be used to wipe a stolen phone remotely.

You can download Find My Device on Google Play Store.
