Is Google working on its own job site? What is Google Hire?

It would seem that Google is working on its own job site to compete with the likes of LinkedIn.

Google has published a website, Google Hire, which is supposed to play in the jobs space. The service is still hidden from public view.

According to an Axios report, “Google Hire seems to be the latest project under Google’s enterprise and cloud division, led by Diane Greene. An email address inside the product that references “Bebop,” the name of Greene’s startup that Google acquired in 2015.”

I tried logging in with my Gmail credentials but got an error that said, “Your Gmail ID is not associated with an account.” Guess Google Hire website currently has limited access for certain people. Axios states that some companies including Medisas, Poynt, DramaFever, SingleHop, and CoreOS seem to be using or testing the service.

Google seems to be going for anything and everything that would help it remain relevant in the technology space. Earlier this week, the tech giant debuted an app called Areo in India to compete in the food delivery and home services space.

Straight talk. I tell it like it is. Obvious but elusive. I do love technology and marvel comics/films. No you can't see me. I am like "The Stig" in Top Gear or like Lagbaja. Now you see me, now you don't
