Introducing your personal travel guide – Google Trips

I just downloaded Google Trips on my Samsung S6 phone. No, it is not just another app from Google. It is a personalised travel guide. One very important feature about this app is that it is available offline.

Awesome!! I remember the first time I travelled to the UK and had to print out my itinerary before leaving home. Now this will be a thing of the past as I can download my itinerary and it is available even when I do not have access to the internet (so I don’t use my data).

Google Trips is a personalized tour guide in your pocket. Each trip contains key categories of information, including day plans, reservations, things to do, food & drink, and more, so you have everything you need at your fingertips.

You can also keep track of all your flight, hotel, car and restaurant reservations with Google Trips. All your travel reservations are automatically gathered from Gmail and organized for you into individual trips, so you don’t have to search and dig up those emails. They’re waiting for you within the reservations tile, even without WiFi.

I also noticed that the app picked up my past travel reservations.

Google Trips is available now on Android and iOS. Indeed it is a must-have.

Straight talk. I tell it like it is. Obvious but elusive. I do love technology and marvel comics/films. No you can't see me. I am like "The Stig" in Top Gear or like Lagbaja. Now you see me, now you don't
