2016 is already promising to be exciting already with quite a number of planned and rumored product launches, the latest being Google’s interest in competing with Facebook and other companies that offer messaging services.
Wall Street Journal reported that Google’s new service would tap into Google’s artificial intelligence know-how, integrating chatbots, or software programs that answer questions, inside a messaging app.
With the new app, users of the Google product will be able to send text to friends or a chatbot, which will search the web and other sources for information to answer a question. It is still not unclear when the service will be officially launched, Google is keeping mute on its name and it is declining to comment.
We will just fold our hands and patiently await the release of the Google product that will definitely heat up the messaging service ecosystem globally.
