Sundar Pichai, CEO of Aiphabet and Google revealed in a tweet that the Google Search engine recorded the highest ever traffic in 25 years during the final match of 2022 FIFA World cup that took place in Qatar between Argentina and France.
According to him, “it was like the entire world was searching about one thing!”. For those who did not watch the match, Argentina won the match 4 -2 via a penalty shootout after it ended 2-2 after regular 90 minutes, and 3-3 after extra 30 mins.
In an earlier tweet, he said, “One of the greatest games ever. Well played Argentina and France. Jogo Bonito. Nobody deserves it more than #messi, imho the greatest ever to play the game. What a swansong. #FIFAWorldCup“.
It was one of the greatest finals of the FIFA world cup in recent times with Lionel Messi of Argentina scoring 2 goals and Kylian Mbappe of France scoring a hat-trick.
