Google has announced that it is joining forces with the maker of Ray-Ban, Oakley to make the “Glass” more stylish. The maker, Luxottica, is a leader in premium, luxury and sports eyewear with over 5,000 optical and sun retail stores in the US.
The announcement, made via a recent blog post, states that Luxottica will bring design and manufacturing expertise to the mix. In addition, Google will make use of Luxoticca’s retails and wholesale distribution channels to make Glass available to all.
No date has been fixed for the launch of this stylish “Glasses”
