    Google opens an Instagram account.

Google just launched an Instagram account. This is great news as the photo app is just irresistible.  Millions of people use this app as a way of expressing themselves via selfies and photo shots. The company announced the account via Twitter, and its Instagram already enjoys nearly 5,000 followers.  So far there is one video post, showing today’s time-sinking Google Doodle.  Google, for all intents and purposes, is building the future of our world, from projects like driverless cars to Google Glass to smart home implementation. Plus, Google’s brand perception has changed considerably since launching decades ago. In the late 90′s, Google was the little startup with a big dream, and that little startup has now grown to be the most powerful and influential technology company in the world.

Instagram is an online photo-sharing, video-sharing and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures and videos, apply digital filters to them, and share them on a variety of social networking services, such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr. A distinctive feature is that it confines photos to a square shape, similar to Kodak Instamatic and Polaroid images, in contrast to the 4:3 aspect ratio typically used by mobile device cameras. Users are also able to record and share short videos lasting for up to 15 seconds.

Congrats to Google fans. Your Android father has found another route to your heart.
