Google Marks Arrival of New Year’s Eve With Doodle

Google created a beautiful Doodle to celebrate New Year’s eve which it unveiled on Thursday. As people are all set to say Goodbye to 2020 and to welcome 2021, the internet giant depicted the same with a Doodle.

People have already gathered at different locations and organised parties to welcome the New Year. Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, people have been asked to follow the social distancing norms and to wear masks at public places. The law enforcement agencies have issued guidelines for the celebration.

The doodle showed the letters of Google encased in colorful light with a symbolic cuckoo clock in the middle to announce the arrival of New Year’s Eve.

“It’s been a cuckoo year, but 2020’s clock is ticking,” Google wrote.

The small Pacific island nations of Tonga, Samoa, and Kiribati will be the first to celebrate the arrival of New Year. The New Year’s Eve would then be welcomed by the nations of New Zealand, Australia, Japan, South Korea.

The Bakers Island in the central Pacific Ocean (an uninhabited atoll part of the United States Minor Outlying Islands) and American Samoa will be the last to celebrate the arrival of 2021.

    Happy New Year’s Eve!

It’s been a cuckoo year, but 2020’s clock is ticking. The countdown begins now, and when the clock strikes midnight a new year will spread its wings!
