Google will be celebrating the international Women’s Day with a special Women Techmakers event in Lagos, Nigeria.
Women Techmakers is Google’s global program and brand for women in technology. Kicked off in 2012 by then VP of Google[x] Megan Smith, Women Techmakers is now led by Women in Technology Advocate Natalie Villalobos and a global team of Googlers who are passionate about empowering women in technology through increased visibility, community, and resources.
According to Google, ” The event will feature panel discussions with female technology leaders, networking opportunities and more. And, in true Google fashion, there will be plenty of food and excitement”
The event will take place at the Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Victoria Island on the 19th of March 2016
To attend this event, you need to register here before the 26th of February, 2016. Accepted applicants will be notified by March 4th, 2016.
