The Google Flights update will alert users when the price of a flight is expected to rise. How does it work? According to a Google blog post, “Google Flights can now help you be more confident that you’re booking your flight at the right time to get the best price. We now show you when prices are expected to increase for some specific flights and routes you’re interested in.
“After selecting a specific flight, a notification may appear letting you know when the current fare is expected to expire and how much you can save if you book now.”
This app is perfect for regular travelers that find it difficult to determine whether to book their flight ticket now or to relax for a few days.
Reports say that Google hinged their predictions on historical flight data because the result cannot always be perfect and it is only meant to give you a fair idea if knowing the best time to book a flight.
This will be good news for Nigerian entrepreneurs in this present economic recession.
