The moto 360 gold smartwatch has been made official with debut on Motorola’s website, though you still can’t buy one just yet. The “Champagne Gold” Moto 360 is listed as coming soon and priced at $329.99 for the smaller 18mm device. There’s no larger gold option on Motorola’s website, though Amazon’s leaked listing did mention a 23mm variant. There’s also an 18mm “Light Finish” stainless steel option “coming soon” for $299.
On the software side, Motorola said that it’s going to roll out a new Moto Connect software update in the coming days that will allow you to tweak the watchface background image and style of the tick marks and watch hands.
Moto Body will do basically everything that other fitness tracking apps do, including measuring “steps, distance, heart rate and calories.” From there, the app will suggest “new goals to keep you motivated.”
Motorola also says that interchangeable bands are coming soon, which will give users even more accessorizing options if you’re not happy with the bands that come with the device out of the box.
Motorola also teased a bunch of other standalone interchangeable bands, including new colors of leather, new leather straps from DODOcase and silicone straps by TYLT.
