    Global Startup Ecosystem Hosts Ghana Tech Summit 2020 Virtually December 10

    The Ghana Tech Summit is a 12-year initiative of the Global Startup Ecosystem which conducts the largest online digital accelerator in emerging markets. This year’s event will be on the 10th of December, and due to the global pandemic the event will be done virtually.

    Ghana Tech Summit aims to revitalize Ghana’s entrepreneurial economy and reposition it as a global study of catalyzed innovation within an emerging market country. The Ghana Tech Summit is for local and international industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, digital marketers and creatives interested in transforming the world via entrepreneurship.

    The Tech Summit will accommodate more than 5 000 attendees and over 100 global speakers to drive Africa as the leading continent in innovation. The 2020 Ghana Tech Summit will operate virtually on 10 December 2020. The Summit is the largest tech summit in West Africa and falls part of the 12-year initiative of the Global Startup Ecosystem.

    The Global Startup Ecosystem remains the largest digital accelerator that annually drives 1 000 startups into emerging markets across more than 190 countries, virtually. 

    Ghana Tech Summit

    The Ghana Tech Summit’s main aim is to strengthen Ghana’s entrepreneurial economy. In addition, the Tech Summit intends to restructure with the objective of being recognised as a global study that displays innovative solutions based on social change within emerging market countries.

    The Summit was launched in 2018 and at the time consisted of 100 speakers and 1 000 attendees. The first summit included pioneers from leading companies such as Google, Facebook, Uber, Twitter, International Business Machines (IBM), and Microsoft. 

    In 2019, the Summit hosted over 2 000 attendees with more than 40 media representatives present, with the likes of Forbes, Inc Magazine, Fast Company, Black Enterprise, and NY Times.

    The Summit is for local and international industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, digital marketers, and creatives who show an interest in transforming the world through entrepreneurship.
