Samsung is expected to unveil some new devices at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event on the 5th of August, 2020. One of the expected gadgets is the Galaxy Z Flip 5G.
Some leaks about the device have surfaced on the internet, one of which is by the usual friendly neighborhood phone leaker, Evan Blass @evleaks. This time, he presents a video on Twitter which leaves nothing to the imagination.
The video shows a bronze-like flip phone which looks like the original LTE version that went on sale on the 14th of February this year. According to Max Weinbach, XDA TV host and Writer for @xdadevelopers, the only part that changes is the System on the chip (SoC) which is the Snapdragon 865+.
“The cameras stay the same at 12MP and 12MP. Same sensors too. Display is the same. Software is One UI 2.5 which is mostly unchanged. Hole is the same size. Battery is the same size.”
So it seems it is basically the same phone but 5G and a faster processor.
