African payment technology company, Flutterwave has partnered with Microsoft to build its next generation platform on Microsoft Azure, powering payments infrastructure across the African continent and beyond.
This partnership demonstrates Flutterwave’s dedication to enabling access to high-quality services for individuals and companies across all of Africa and promoting digital transformation globally. With Flutterwave and Microsoft’s intentions to manage payments to and from Africa, there is a fantastic opportunity to influence growth across the entire continent through this partnership.
The collaboration will support the accelerated growth of transactions processed on Flutterwave platform for global clients like Uber, Netflix, and Microsoft, solidifying Azure’s role in facilitating a seamless, reliable, and secure payment experience.
The popular Azure cloud platform is being used to develop and migrate important Flutterwave products like Flutterwave for Business, Send by Flutterwave, Flutterwave Store, and Flutterwave for Fintech Platform. Additionally, Flutterwave makes use of Azure OpenAI Service features to scale its product offerings to millions of retailers around the world.
