Mastercard is accelerating the pace of fintech innovation with the global expansion of its Product Express platform. After a successful launch in Latin America earlier this year, Product Express is now available in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and North America, enabling fintechs to launch new card programs and payment solutions faster and more efficiently.
Product Express is a game-changer for fintechs, providing a streamlined and transparent process for launching card programs in as little as 15 days. The platform offers a range of benefits, including:
- Simplified product selection: Fintechs can easily choose the card program that best suits their needs.
- Pre-certified partners: Access to a network of certified partners with ready-to-implement solutions, including live BINs and pre-approved card designs.
- Transparency and speed: The platform provides full visibility into the onboarding process, enabling faster time-to-market.
“We are thrilled to be expanding the reach of the Product Express to more partners, more regions and more solutions,” said Jennifer Premisler, senior vice president of Fintech Solutions at Mastercard. “By creating a better experience for all parties, we foster innovation and reduce time to market.”
Product Express has already proven successful in Latin America, with fintechs like Foxbit in Brazil leveraging the platform to quickly launch and scale their card programs.
“The partnership with Mastercard through the Product Express platform brought many benefits to Foxbit,” said Ricardo Dantas, CEO of Foxbit. “The onboarding process was simple and efficient, allowing quick and secure integration into Mastercard services.”
The platform boasts a growing ecosystem of partners, including BIN sponsors, processors, and program managers like Blusalt, Episode Six, FOO, Giftstarr, i2c Inc., Nymcard, Optimus, Paymentology, and Wema Bank.
Mastercard plans to expand Product Express beyond card issuance to include a wider range of payment solutions. This will provide fintechs with a single platform to access and integrate various Mastercard services, including global payment acceptance and enterprise payment solutions through Mastercard Gateway.
This expansion of Product Express reinforces Mastercard’s commitment to supporting fintech innovation and driving financial inclusion. By providing fintechs with the tools and resources they need to launch and scale their businesses, Mastercard is helping to shape the future of payments and create a more inclusive and connected global economy.
