The fourth annual edition of Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards has concluded, recognizing fifteen innovative startups for their exceptional contributions across various sectors. This year’s theme, “Breaking Silos Together: Building Resilience and Embracing Opportunity,” set the tone for a collaborative and forward-thinking event. The awards were supported by a host of prestigious sponsors, including ievents and Tatweer Misr, EGBANK, Orange Egypt, PepsiCo, among others.
The much-anticipated awards ceremony took place on September 21 in Cairo, where startups were honored across fifteen distinct categories, showcasing the diverse talent and innovation within Egypt’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Among the winners, Hussein Shahbender, the founder of Sight, was awarded the Outstanding Youth Entrepreneur Award, highlighting his significant impact at a young age. In the realm of sports and wellness, SR Padel took home the Sports and Wellness Award, while ILLA Logistics was recognized with the Disruptor of Traditional Industries Award for its innovative approach to logistics.
The Art to Business Award was bestowed upon 2oolameme, celebrating the fusion of art and entrepreneurship. Peace Cake was honored with the Content Innovation Award for its creative content strategies, and Synapse Analytics received the Digital Solutions and Customer Experience Award for enhancing customer experiences through digital innovation.
Environmental sustainability was also a key focus, with Mozna winning the Environmental Sustainability Award for its efforts in promoting eco-friendly practices. The Fashion Vanguard Award went to Pepla for its pioneering work in the fashion industry, and Menthum was recognized with the Fintech Excellence Award for its contributions to financial technology.
Technobit achieved the Global Reach Achievement Award, demonstrating its international impact, while Raw African was celebrated with the Local Hero Award for its positive influence within the local community. In the realm of product design and innovation, SAL was awarded the Product Design & Innovation Award. Willy’s emerged as the Quick Serve Restaurant Champion, and Reme-D was honored with the Rising Star Award for its promising growth and potential.
Concluding the list of winners, Rology and Astrazeneca jointly received the Disruptive Duo Award, acknowledging their collaborative efforts in disrupting traditional industries with innovative solutions. This year’s Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards not only celebrated individual achievements but also underscored the importance of collaboration, resilience, and seizing opportunities in the ever-evolving entrepreneurial landscape.
