Favizone, an e-commerce startup has been declared the winner of Seedstars World’s first challenge in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Favizone beat off strong competition from gaming startup WanaGames and online fashion store Dabchy, that came second and third respectively.

Seedstars World competition takes place every year across different countries in the world in search for tech startups that will pitch at the Global Summit.

Favizone will now represent Tunisia at the Seedstars Global Summit to be held in Switzerland next year. This win gives Favizone the opportunity to win $500,000 in equity investment at the global summit.

The startup will also be invited to represent Tunisia at the Regional Summit in Africa in Kigali, Rwanda on December 9th.
