Calls are on for application into the Dream Assembly fashion and retail tech accelerator program schedule to hold in Lisbon, Portugal.
Dream Assembly is a startup accelerator program powered by Farfetch, which supports the best entrepreneurs, teams and technology to build the next generation of fashion and retail technology.
Dream Assembly also believes that the whole luxury fashion industry, including Farfetch, can benefit from helping to support the next generation of technology companies with the ambition to shape the future of commerce.
Interestingly, the fashion and retail tech accelerator also offers the world’s most promising start-ups with a program of education, mentorship, networking opportunities, early-stage funding, and access to investors.
The Dream Assembly program will be run from Farfetch’s offices in Lisbon and will include a series of workshops, one-to-one sessions with senior leaders within Farfetch plus mentorship meetings covering topics including ecommerce, marketing, technology, fashion, logistics and operations – giving startups direct access to Farfetch’s expertise in the luxury fashion and technology industries over the course of 12 weeks.
In addition, Dream Assembly will offer curated networking opportunities for participating startups, connecting them to relevant contacts in the fashion industry. Burberry, known for its leadership in digital for luxury fashion, will be providing a module for the first Dream Assembly cohort. Early-stage venture capital fund, 500 Startups, will also provide two weeks of programming, including one week in San Francisco and one week in Lisbon during the 12-week program.
Twice a year, applications will be open for up to 10 startups to join the 12-week Dream Assembly program. Participating startups will move to Lisbon (where the program is based) with some weeks in London and San Francisco, during which they’ll take part in a structured course of workshops, inspirational talks, mentor meetings and external networking opportunities.
