    Facebook Rebrands As ‘FACEBOOK’ (All-Caps)

    Facebook has that it is reinventing itself with a rebrand. In the coming weeks, a new multicoloured, all-caps logo will begin appearing across its services.

    Henceforth, Instagram and Whatsapp, owned by the company, will tell users that they are services “from FACEBOOK”.

    According to a blog post from the social media giant, the upper-case logo was designed with “clarity and openness” in mind, with “harmonized capital letters”. harmony?

    FACEBOOK also uses “dynamic” colours, with the logo “taking on the colour of its environment”.

    “This brand change is a way to better communicate our ownership structure to the people and businesses who use our services to connect, share, build community and grow their audiences”, Facebook added in the blog post.

    Just last month, Yahoo went the opposite direction, opting for a lowercase yahoo! in an effort, as Chaim Gartenberg noted is to remind people of its existence.
