Facebook is launching a feature called “On This Day.” It shows users their Facebook posts from the current date in past years, like photos from exactly one year ago, or status updates from four years ago, a new way to look back at things you have shared and posts you’ve been tagged in on Facebook.
These results can be a status update, a gallery of photos you uploaded, and even status updates from your friends.
There is a dedicated page for On This day, and Facebook has added a bookmark for those who want to check it out to click on for the easiest access to it. Facebook users can also travel to facebook.com/onthisday to see their page as well. What’s displayed there is private to the user, or they can choose to share the page if they want.
The new page and feature are being rolled out to both its website and mobile site globally, sadly, it’s currently not available to all region but the wait won’t be long.
