Facebook has officially rolled out its new Like button which comes with five new emoji alongside the original lIkd icon we’re all used to. This new feature works on both mobile and web but is currently not available globally.
To use this feature on a mobile device, all you have to do is press down the Like button and new emojis will emerge… then, you can pick an appropriate emoji with a tap.
On web, just move the mouse over the Like button for a second and the same options will pop up for you to choose.
This feature has been available to a few countries last year. Well, it was a way the company could test if it would be a welcomed feature because the “like” button seems to be the most prominent feature for Facebook. For many years a “dislike” button has been one of the most requested additions that users would like to see on the site but it seems the emojis are ready for prime time.
