Exclusive: Jovago, Carmudi, Lamudi, and HelloFood dissolved but…

    0
By Rowland Osahon on June 21, 2016 Business, Ecommerce, Hellofood, Jumia

*Jovago, Carmudi, Lamudi, and HelloFood will no longer exist

*They will now carry the Jumia brand name

*Jovago will become JumiaTravels, Carmudi-JumiaCars, Lamudi-JumiaHouse and HelloFood will become JumiaFood.

*According to reports, the reason for this radical move is to take advantage of the Jumia Brand for more traction and the structure of the different ventures will not change.

*Any other company cannot use the soon to be rested brand names

Venture companies under the African Internet Group (AIG) are set to rebrand according to reports from the company.

The AIG companies which are Jovago, Carmudi, Lamudi, and HelloFood are expected to give up their names for the Jumia brand. The venture companies will now carry Jumia as a prefix followed by the names of different industries the ventures belong.

This is actionable across African countries where Jumia exists, and an official announcement of the change is expected to be made on Thursday.

Straight talk. I tell it like it is. Obvious but elusive. I do love technology and marvel comics/films. No you can't see me. I am like "The Stig" in Top Gear or like Lagbaja. Now you see me, now you don't
