provider of Mobile banking and payment services, eTranzact International Plc, has launched a promotion in collaboration with its mobile banking partners, FCMB, Skye Bank, Heritage Bank, Union Bank, Unity Bank, Access Bank, Standard Chartered, and Jaiz Bank to reward its loyal customers and to encourage more people to adopt mobile banking.

The reward promo tagged: ‘Cow, Turkey, Everything Goes Mobile Promo’ will see thousands of customers of eTranzact powered mobile banking applications win millions of items including live cows, turkeys, chickens, Cable TV Starter Packs, movie tickets, hampers and bags of rice.

Here’s what to do to win:

    • Download your bank’s eTranzact Powered mobile banking application: You can download directly after filling the form on the promo page HERE.
    • Activate your app by changing your pin and doing at least one transaction.
    • Carry out weekly transactions such as: Interbank transfers, Pay bills, purchase airtime
    • Customers with high transaction values are selected via an automated system weekly.
    • Winners will be announced every Friday.

The first 500 winners of different items have already emerged in Week 1 and 2 of the promotion.

Valentine Obi, Group CEO, eTranzact International PLC said: “Mobile banking has changed not just the process of banking, but the very idea of what a bank is and can be. Before we introduced the first mobile banking application in partnership with our banking partners in 2003, a bank was limited to a physical place, an edifice that created some form of security of money within.

Today, with mobile banking and other evolutions in technology, the idea of a digital bank has come to the fore, and every time we introduce a new feature, improve the user experience or take an otherwise offline feature of banking online through an eTranzact powered mobile banking application, we are helping the banks form new and maintain existing relationships with customers.”

Adeyemi Adeyemo, Group Head, Business development added: “Our choice of prizes reflects our belief that rewards have to be relevant as we believe that the items we offer will significantly benefit our users this yuletide season.

This reward programme is aimed at increasing awareness about mobile banking in Nigeria while rewarding and encouraging those who have already adopted mobile banking.

Our new mobile banking applications have significantly made on-boarding and transactions easier. This was a measure we adopted to continue to improve our services and make mobile banking most easily accessible and drive financial inclusion especially among the financially underserved population.”

The promotion will run till December 31st, 2015 and the team expects to reach over 50 million people across the 36 states.
