One of Nigeria’s major telecoms company Etisalat has launched a Data Centre in Abuja with the goal of making it the most reliable network in Nigeria, as well as addressing its growing demand for colocation, cloud and disaster recovery services.

Matthew Willsher, chief executive officer, Etisalat Nigeria, said: “Our goal is to create more value for our customers by improving quality, reduce costs, introduce innovation and increase speed of delivery. This data centre will ensure that we remain innovative and that our customers will have continuity of service.”

The data centre has an uninterrupted power supply, is secure and fireproof to ensure safety of users data and its equipment.

With this move, Etisalat said it will be reducing redundancy and will improve the quality of its services to its customers in Abuja.
