Mobile social network Eskimi has launched a new mobile demand-side-platform in 2014. The new platform allows advertisers to reach mobile consumers outside Eskimi mobile social network. Currently Eskimi operates 2 major media properties in the country – a mobile DSP (reach 33M users in Nigeria) and a mobile social network (reach 9M users in Nigeria).
Eskimi DSP announced the launch of a new ad format – native ads, which allows more seamless and organic integration of advertisement in mobile pages and apps. The ads are integrated as part of scroll down navigation, inside product listings (in product apps), user profile lists (in chat apps) or just part of the content (inside news and content apps).
“Native ads is the new trend in the digital marketing industry worldwide. We see that native ads have higher conversions and are driving registrations, purchases or app downloads for our clients worldwide. The ads are same format as Facebook in-feed advertisement, just that we have better reach across thousands of sites and apps”, CEO of Eskimi DSP, Vytas Paukstys commented on the new functionality.
Currently Eskimi DSP has a reach of 33 million unique monthly active mobile consumers in Nigeria making it the largest network for mobile reach in the country. Eskimi DSP currently serves ads inside more than 17,500 sites and apps in Nigeria. More than 200 sites are local.
Eskimi DSP today serves 110 million impressions daily in Nigeria alone, which makes a total number of impressions more than 3.3 billion every month.
Eskimi DSP offers advertisers reach across all African markets, where total reach exceeds 65M unique monthly active mobile consumers. In total Eskimi DSP reaches more than 280 million mobile site and app users worldwide in Africa, Asia and Western Europe.
