Kemitt, the premier Egyptian online marketplace for furniture and home accessories, has announced its foray into the Saudi Arabian market, fueled by a recent funding round with undisclosed financial details.
Established in 2017, Kemitt serves as a bridge between furniture and product designers and consumers, managing the entire process from manufacturing to delivery. The platform boasts an extensive selection of over 100,000 stock-keeping units (SKUs), offering customers the convenience of on-demand manufacturing and swift delivery times ranging from 7 to 12 days right to their homes.
The capital injection from the latest funding round is set to bolster Kemitt’s strategic expansion efforts. The funds are earmarked for technological advancements to the platform, an increase in product offerings, the formation of local partnerships, and the company’s strategic move into the Saudi market.
Mahmoud Fouad, the co-founder and CEO of Kemitt, expressed enthusiasm about the company’s growth trajectory: “We are incredibly excited to bring Kemitt to Saudi Arabia. This expansion is a testament to our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. The recent funding will enable us to scale our operations, enhance our technology, and offer our unique shopping experience to Saudi consumers. Our mission is to establish Kemitt as the go-to destination for furniture shopping in the region.”
In celebration of its expansion, Kemitt has rolled out a specialized website for the Saudi Arabian audience, already featuring over 25,000 SKUs, signaling a significant milestone in the company’s regional presence.
