Egypt’s eYouth enters Iraqi market with landmark Arabic e‑learning platform

eYouth, the Egyptian‑founded regional edtech company and one of the Middle East and Africa’s leading digital learning platforms, has announced its official expansion into Iraq with the launch of eYouth Iraq. As part of this expansion, the company has introduced Iraq’s first Arabic‑language digital learning platform designed specifically to equip learners with skills aligned to labour market needs. This milestone has been made possible through a strategic partnership with Al‑Majal Group, one of the country’s most prominent private‑sector conglomerates.

Founded in Egypt in 2016, eYouth has grown into a regional edtech powerhouse, delivering customized, accessible, and high‑quality digital learning solutions. The company has expanded significantly over the past decade, particularly in Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and today serves a community of more than 4 million learners across 21 countries. Its expansion into Iraq marks the next step in its mission to build a more future‑ready workforce across the region.

The partnership with Al‑Majal Group represents a major leap forward in supporting Iraq’s talent development and workforce readiness. Through eYouth Iraq, the company will offer targeted training programmes tailored to the needs of critical economic sectors, ensuring that learners develop high‑demand skills that reflect the country’s rapidly evolving labour market. The platform will serve youth, new graduates, and experienced professionals who seek to upskill, improve employability, and remain competitive in a changing economy.

Under this collaboration, eYouth will leverage its extensive expertise in digital learning, professional development, and workforce training. Meanwhile, Al‑Majal Group will bring invaluable local insights through its deep understanding of the Iraqi market and its broad network within the private sector. In addition to this private‑sector alliance, eYouth Iraq will work closely with government entities, ministries, public institutions, and employers across various industries to ensure close alignment between training programmes, national development priorities, and real‑world labour market demands.

The platform will deliver Arabic‑first educational content built according to international quality standards, ensuring relevance, accessibility, and strong learning outcomes. Beyond technical and professional skills, the initiative will place a strong emphasis on employability, practical application, and direct alignment with employer needs, enabling learners to turn knowledge into tangible career opportunities.

Commenting on the expansion, Engineer Mustafa Abd Ellatif, Co‑Founder and CEO of eYouth, said:

Establishing eYouth Iraq is a strategic step toward building a sustainable talent development ecosystem in the country. Our goal is to work hand in hand with government institutions and private‑sector partners to ensure that education is directly connected to real labour market needs. This platform will empower Iraqi youth with practical, future‑ready skills and open new pathways to meaningful employment and active economic participation.

Ali Agha Jaffar, Chairman and CEO of Al‑Majal Group, added:

Developing human capital is a cornerstone of Iraq’s long‑term growth and economic resilience. This partnership with eYouth reflects our commitment to supporting Iraqi youth through accessible, high‑quality education that responds to the real needs of employers. By collaborating with both public and private stakeholders, we aim to create sustainable value for individuals, businesses, and the national economy.

This initiative also aligns with broader national efforts to strengthen Iraq’s local talent pipeline, boost private‑sector competitiveness, and contribute to wider economic and social development through modern, scalable, and digitally enabled education solutions.

The platform is set to roll out in phases throughout 2026, with training programmes gradually expanding into multiple sectors and regions across Iraq, paving the way for a more skilled and adaptable workforce.
