Egypt’s Business For Teens closes six-figure pre-seed investment to scale impact

Business For Teens, an innovative education startup dedicated to teaching entrepreneurship and financial literacy to teenagers, has successfully closed a six-figure pre-seed funding round aimed at accelerating its growth and regional expansion.

This milestone follows strong early traction since the company’s launch. Business For Teens has already partnered with more than 10 schools across Egypt and Saudi Arabia, delivering hands-on entrepreneurship programs to over 600 students aged 10–16. These programs go beyond theory, incorporating real-world experiences through student-led bazaars and exhibitions, where participants showcase and sell their own business projects to hundreds of visitors—transforming learning into practical application.

The funding round was led by Salah Abou Elmagd, a prominent training and sales expert, alongside a group of angel investors. The capital will be deployed to:

    • Expand operations across Egypt and the Gulf region.
    • Enhance program offerings with new levels and interactive content.
    • Strengthen partnerships with schools and educational institutions.

Nadeem Barakat, Founder of Business For Teens, commented:

Our mission is to give teenagers a clear pathway from learning the fundamentals to launching real projects, while equipping them with essential personal and business skills for today’s fast-changing world. This investment enables us to scale our impact to thousands of teens across the region and forge strategic partnerships with schools and institutions.

Built on 12 years of real-world business development experience, Business For Teens’ programs combine interactive, project-based learning, startup simulations, and educational games, all aligned with modern global learning methodologies.

Salah Abou Elmagd, lead investor, added:

This is my first investment in a series of upcoming ventures. I’ve been following Business For Teens closely and strongly believe in its mission, its execution, and the founder’s ability to build a scalable, high-impact educational entity.

The company plans to launch three new program levels in Q1 2026, expand to 30+ school partnerships, and train over 6,000 students by year-end. Schools, youth organizations, and educational institutions are invited to explore collaboration opportunities via the company’s website.
