EdVentures, the venture capital branch specializing in educational technology under the umbrella of the Nahdet Misr Group, has recently expanded its investment portfolio by incorporating eight new Egyptian ed-tech startups. Launched in 2017, EdVentures has dedicated itself to nurturing and financially backing innovative startups in the educational technology sector. This commitment is part of the broader vision of the Nahdet Misr Group, a leading publishing company, to revolutionize the educational landscape through technology.

The latest round of investments follows a rigorous selection process involving participants in EdVentures’ recent accelerator program designed for budding entrepreneurs. These eight startups were chosen for their potential to contribute significantly to the ed-tech ecosystem, raising the total number of companies within EdVentures’ investment portfolio to 22.

Among the newly selected startups are El Kheta, a platform that offers tutoring services; Saikoro, a provider of digital educational content; The Copywriter, a platform aimed at fostering creative education; and Techy App, which presents solutions for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning.

Completing the list of new additions are SchoolZ, offering a solution for school transportation; ArmStrong, another STEM learning platform; Tutoro, a service dedicated to tutoring; and InvestED, which focuses on educational fundraising. These startups represent a diverse array of solutions aimed at addressing various challenges within the educational sector, demonstrating EdVentures’ commitment to fostering innovation and supporting the growth of the ed-tech ecosystem in Egypt.
