EduLife expands into Gauteng with acquisition of Arrow Academy

EduLife, a rapidly growing South African private schools group backed by private equity firm Sanari Capital, has officially entered Gauteng Province through the acquisition of Arrow Academy, a well-established school located in Centurion, near Pretoria.

Arrow Academy currently serves approximately 400 learners, and its integration into the EduLife network pushes the group’s total enrolment to over 4,000 students across its campuses. As part of its growth strategy, EduLife plans to expand the Centurion campus to include a high school, further strengthening its footprint in the province.

This acquisition marks a significant milestone in EduLife’s journey, which began with The Academy of Excellence, a high-performing school based in Bloemfontein. With support from Sanari Capital’s 3S Growth Fund, EduLife has evolved into the largest private education provider in the Free State Province and has successfully expanded into the Eastern Cape.

Trevashan Pillay, Investment Associate at Sanari Capital, emphasized EduLife’s mission to redefine access to quality education in South Africa.

EduLife is committed to becoming a household name synonymous with innovative, high-quality education that is accessible to all. What sets EduLife apart is its focus on serving learners in under-resourced communities, children whose families might not otherwise afford private schooling.

Looking ahead, EduLife is actively pursuing land acquisition opportunities in the Western Cape, signaling its intent to continue scaling its impact across the country.
