Nigeria’s e-commerce platform for SMBs, SMEs and Entrepreneurs 247Imart has launched to help African entrepreneurs manage their businesses digitally. The platform enables small businesses to gain visibility. It also helps businesses track and increase sales by creating commercial access and driving digital inclusion.

The platform was founded in May 2022 by Joshua Alabi, David Isikwei, Mebiri Ewayazim Bless and Oyeniswe Emmanuel Opeyemi.

Speaking in an interview with Innovation Village, CEO and Co-Founder, 247Imart, Joshua Alabi said, “We’ve created and implemented technological business development tools, for business owners who are willing to expand their businesses to both local and global audiences. We’ve brought in technology to help seamlessly create an online store and also add their business as a listing on the 247imart website.”

Alabi also said that platform was created to help small business owners and entrepreneurs gain visibility through technology.

He said, “we’re passionate when about entrepreneurs and millions of small business owners that are struggling and trying to grow their business, we’re inspired by these people as entrepreneurs ourselves. we live in a world now, where a majority of successful businesses thrive through technology, our mission is to create a global community for small business owners to reach a larger and global audience.

247Imart is unique as it focuses on helping small businesses grow. The platform is building a community for these businesses where they can get guidance, meet and network with different business owners for both their business and personal growth.

“We help people achieve independence by making it easier to start, run, and grow a business. We believe the future of commerce has more voices, not fewer, so we’re reducing the barriers to business ownership to make commerce better for everyone,” Alabi added.

For prospective clients who want to onboard their businesses on the platform, they can start by following these steps:

    • Sign up at: https://247imart.com
    • Create and customize an online store
    • Sell in multiple places, including web, mobile, social media, online marketplaces, brick-and-mortar locations, and pop-up shops
    • Manage products, inventory, payments, and shipping
    • Add your business as a listing on the 247imart website, so customers can reach you through us.

247imart is completely cloud-based and hosted, which means business owners don’t have to worry about upgrading or maintaining software or web servers. This gives them the flexibility to access and run their businesses from almost anywhere even with their mobile devices.

Speaking on the plans for 247Imart, Alabi said, “Our future plan is to be one of the leading commerce companies in Africa and the world at large, The e-commerce market is still a rapidly growing industry, expected to reach a market size of $8.1 trillion by 2026, and 247imart is strongly positioned to continue penetrating this high-growth market to drive future revenue growth despite competitions.”
