Cairo-based e-health startup, Estshara has raised $500,000 in a Seed fund round. The startup which runs a teleconsultation service secured the fund from Egypt Ventures and this has added it to the list of healthcare platforms in Egypt’s emerging market. The idea of the e-health startup developed years ago, from a love for telecommunication and primarily saving people’s lives.
Estshara, a Cairo-based eHealth startup has raised $500,000 in seed fund round. The startup operates a teleconsultation service and it secured funds from Egypt Ventures and it has become one of the emerging healthcare platforms in Egypt. The love for technology and saving people’s lives bring about the idea of the establishment of the e-health startup.
A statement from the websites reads that “we collaborated our efforts to develop something that is a mix of both our passions and from there we decided to develop a platform that can assist in connecting doctors to patients, to expand and serve more people in more places and we are trying our best to always improve and upgrade our efforts.”
Estshara aims to invest newly raised funds to increase its current users from 2 million to 6 million and also to provide more customers care services.
