Africa’s leading Pay TV channel, DStv said it has added video-on-demand service to its DStv iOS app. It said the feature allows its premium customers to stream or download over 350 titles of series, movies and sport highlights on their iPhones and iPads.
According to the company, the video-on-demand service called DStv Catch Up, is exclusively available for free to DStv Premium customers; it provides access to a vast collection of entertainment and sport content.
“DStv Catch Up is a value-added service that is available to DStv Premium subscribers – giving you the ability to catch up on some of your favourite programming, on both your PVR and online, if you missed the earlier broadcast or repeats. You’ll find a selection of series and sports highlights on your PVR, while online you’ll be able to watch a wide variety of series, movies, current affairs shows and sporting highlights,” DStv said.
It requires that existing DStv Premium customers to install the latest version of the DStv app from the App Store, sign up or sign in with their DStv Connect ID and link up their smart card number via theDStv website to be able to access the VOD service.
