Dr Dre’s Compton album is out now, and it’s a masterpiece, well, that’s what we’d expect from the Doc himself. This is Dre’s first official full length album since 1999. The album was dropped few hours early through an exclusive Apple Music stream before officially going on sale on Aug 7.
Dr. Dre also announced he will donate the royalties from his new album to help pay for an arts center in Compton, Calif.
The album, Dre says, is inspired by the upcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton which features artists like Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Game, Xzibit, Ice Cube, Jill Scott along with newcomers and others.
The legend brings his legacy full circle on an astonishingly powerful grand finale. The end of an era is upon us.
