The popular mobile phone game, Dots, created by Betaworks is proving that it is much more than a game about connecting and that it can also play a big role in connecting lives.
In a blog post published yesterday, the team behind Dots, showed the role they played in helping Shawn propose to his girlfriend, Cassie. They made a special version of Dots for him with a special surprise at the end. They got engaged on the 14th of December.
The Dots team, just 4 months ago, posted that it was about to hit a billion games of Dots played. Betaworks, the New York-based startup factory founded in 2007, created Dots in May 2013 for iPhone but reconsidered and launched it on Android in July 2013.
