Huawei launched the new Huawei Mate 20 pro in London on the 16th of October 2018.
One key feature about this phone is the fact that it offers reverse wireless charging to Qi-compatible devices. This means that you can use a Mate 20 Pro to wirelessly charge a Note 9 or an iPhone X / XS. And it has a 4,200 mAH battery which makes it possible to share juice when necessary. The 40 W HUAWEI SuperCharge with TÜV Safe Fast-Charge System Certification makes it possible for you to charge the HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro battery up to 70% in 30 minutes.
Another impressive thing about this is the triple-lens rear camera. The Huawei Mate 20 pro has one front camera (24 MP, f/2.0 aperture) and three rear cameras – 40 MP (Wide Angle Lens, f/1.8 aperture) + 20 MP (Ultra Wide A=ts (laser focus, phase focus, contrast focus) and AIS (Huawei AI Image Stabilization)
The 189g phone packs a 6.39″ OLED dislay with a QHD+ resolution. The screen is 6.53″ while the phone is 72.3mm wide, 157.8mm high and 8.6mm deep. It is available in four colours – midnight blue, black, emerald green and twilight.
It comes ready with HUAWEI Kirin 980 chipset and Android 9 operating system. It is also IP68 rated for water and dust resistance. The Mate 20 Pro will come in one variant: 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage
It will cost €1,049 and will be available as from 26 October.
I wonder how it will compare with the Samsung Note 9 and the iPhone XS. Comparison coming soon…
