Dell has once again introduced new products in the notebook market with the Ubuntu operating system. The announced laptops belong to the 15 Inspiron 3000 Ubuntu Edition series, in which there are four basic configurations which primarily differ in processors.
The price of the model above is $250. This model comes with a 2.58 GHz dual-core CPU Intel Celeron N2840.
For an extra $30, you can get a version with an external optical DVD-drive.
As for the most expensive equipment, it is estimated by the manufacturer at $350 and includes not only more powerful quad-core chip Intel Pentium N3540 processor with a clock speed of 2.66 GHz, but also an extended two-year factory warranty.
The laptop with no warranty costs $70 less.

The other characteristics are the same specifications of the series. Regardless of the cost, they are equipped with 4GB of RAM DDR3L 1600 MHz, 500 GB hard disk with rotation speed of 5400 rev/min, an integrated graphics controller Intel HD Graphics, wireless modules Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth 4.0, 15.6-inch TFT TN display with a resolution of 1366 × 768 pixels and a battery capacity of 40 W•h.
