LovedBy, a technology and consultancy business, has announced a data partnership with Dexcom, a glucose monitor manufacturer that will assist adolescent patients with diabetes to cope with their condition better.
Dexcom manufactures a wearable continuous glucose monitoring device in the form of a small patch on the arm that allows glucose data to be streamed in real-time to an app on the smartphone of the users. LovedBy translates the data and place to context through small 30 seconds snippets to assist the younger audience in having the required information and guide them to have better outcomes of their conditions.
The data-sharing collaboration is the latest step in the current partnership between two companies with the aim of bringing personalized and contextual educational content to adolescents having Type 1 diabetes to assist them with their condition.
Recent figures from the International Diabetes Federation shows that over 1.1 million adolescent and children are living with Type 1 diabetes globally requires a variety of management conditions for adults.
