The Coronavirus, US Election, Joe Biden were among the top things Nigerians were trying to get more information about in 2020, according to Nigeria’s top searches in 2020.
Google, one of the world’s search engine, released its annual search trends and it showed that as expected, Nigerians wanted to know more about the coronavirus. The graph below shows the search peaked around March and April as people were trying to understand the virus.
The list of search trends is based on search terms that had the highest spike this year as compared to 2019.

The Global search results are not too different, with Coronavirus topping the list followed by Election results.
