Cool & Crazy Things That Google’s Search Can Do

It’s no question that the people at Google are geniuses. From the famous Google Doodles to crazy stuff like the search engine doing a barrel roll when you search ‘do a barrel roll’, they have shown their ingenuity. Below are some crazy things the search engine can do.

    1. Google Gravity

Enter “Google Gravity” in the search bar. Hit “I’m feeling lucky” (if you have Google Instant enabled, it’s on the right hand side of the suggested searches). Then watch your world fall down.

    2. Askew

Searching for ‘askew’ in Google causes the page to go…well, askew. The page rotates a little towards the right.

    Askew3. The Chuck Norris

Search for ‘Chuck Norris’ on Google – I dare you. Chuck Norris, the action superhero who is famed for being invincible is the one thing Google cannot find. Enter ‘Chuck Norris’ and then click ‘I’m Feeling Lucky’.

    4. Recursion

When you make a mistake, Google usually asks you “Did you mean *correction*”? However, when you type ‘recursion’ – which is the repetition of something, Google asks you “Did you mean recursion?” which is a recursion in itself. Classy!

    Recursion5. Mentalplex

The people at Google are practical jokers and in 2000, they outdid themselves. Google created a service they titled Mentalplex. The service was supposed to search by reading the user’s mind directly. It contained a set of quite ridiculous instructions to make it happen. Being that it was the year 2000, you can imagine how many people fell for it. In fact, you should try it st google.com/mentalplex as it is still up.
