Connected Analytics, the parent company of ThankUCash, a rewards and loyalty platform for banks and businesses in Africa has secured an undisclosed pre-Series A funding.
The funding round was led by Hong Kong’s Betatron Venture Group. Also participating in the round are Accelerex Holdings, San Francisco’s Predictive VC, 500 Startups and angel investors like Craig Fenton, Head of Strategy and Operations for Google UK, Brandon Drew of SaaS Growth Ventures, among others.
Connected Analytics already has the backing of Ventures Platform, Microtraction, Google Launchpad Accelerator, and Expert DOJO and has previously raised a total disclosed funding of $410K.
The company plans to use the investment to support quality team additions and improve its technology to effectively execute its latest strategic partnerships.
Founded in 2018 by Simeon Ononobi (CEO), Madonna Ononobi (COO), Suraj Supekar (CTO), and Harshal Gandole (joined later as Senior VP-Tech), ThankUCash helps merchants grow revenue by connecting them to customers within and outside of their locations while retaining acquired customers using a data analytics-powered reward system where customers earn cash rewards for every transaction made both offline and online.
In 2020, Nigeria’s Connected Analytics was the only African company in 500 Startups’ 26th batch of startups
