Schoolap, an ed-tech platform originating from the Democratic Republic of Congo, is on a mission to revolutionize the educational landscape in Africa. In a significant move to further this mission, Schoolap has recently inaugurated a new branch in Kenya. This marks a pivotal moment for the company as it ventures into English-speaking African nations, broadening its influence and capacity to make a difference across the continent.

Established in 2017, Schoolap has been at the forefront of creating a comprehensive learning and school management ecosystem. The platform is designed to cater to the needs of students, educators, parents, and school administrators alike. It boasts a suite of features that include digital curriculum management, interactive learning tools, and performance tracking with detailed analytics. The platform also emphasizes accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring that education is equitable for all users.

The strategic expansion into Kenya signifies Schoolap’s ambition to penetrate the Anglophone African market, building on its previous successes in Francophone countries such as the DRC and Ivory Coast. The Kenyan office is envisioned as a hub for Schoolap to address educational disparities and contribute to the country’s ongoing initiatives to harness technology for sustainable educational development.

Pascal Kanik, the CEO of Schoolap, expressed enthusiasm about the company’s growth trajectory, stating, “We are thrilled to unveil Schoolap’s new Kenyan office as we embark on our journey to extend our reach into English-speaking regions of Africa. Our goal is to disseminate our cutting-edge educational tools to a wider audience, tapping into the distinct opportunities and meeting the unique educational needs present in the Anglophone African market.”

The Kenyan branch will be led by Vanessa Ozoua Obura, a seasoned professional who has been part of the Schoolap team for over a year. Her expertise and leadership are expected to drive the company’s objectives and ensure the successful integration of Schoolap’s innovative solutions into Kenya’s educational framework.
