Nigerian Telecoms giant Globacom unveiled a new ad campaign titled “Heart of a Champion” featuring boxing champion Anthony Joshua and music producer Don Jazzy.

The ad features Anthony Joshua in a training session with Don Jazzy using the sounds from the session to form a musical sound beat.

Anthony Joshua and Don Jazzy are Glo Ambassadors; with Anthony Joshua signing an endorsement deal to be a Glo Ambassador in 2019.

Globacom, also known as Glo, is a Nigerian multinational telecommunications company founded on 29 August 2003 by Mike Adenuga. As at June 2020, it had 52,573,907 mobile subscribers making it the second largest GSM company by subscriber number.

Here is the Glo ad below.

The ad was released in time to coincide with the Anthony Joshua vs. Kubrat Pulev boxing match where the defending unified WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO world champion Anthony Joshua fought the IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev.

Anthony Joshua won the match, which took place at Wembley stadium in London, with a Technical knockout (TKO) in the ninth round. Joshua floored Pulev heavily on three occasions, twice in the final round, and ended the fight with a vicious right hand to retain his IBF, WBA and WBO titles.
