The Nigerian bobsled female team that will be participating at the 2018 Winter Olympics is the focus of the latest advert of Beats By Dre‘s global Above the Noise campaign.
The trio comprising of driver Seun Adigun and brakewomen Ngozi Onwumere and Akuoma Omeoga make history by being the first African team to participate at any Winter Olympics. They will be participating the 2018 Winter Olympics (PyeongChang 2018) taking place from the 9th – 25th of February.
Previous episodes of the campaign have included famous athletes like Neymar Jr. and Serena Williams
According to Beats By Dre, “No one expected a women’s bobsled team from Africa to make it to winter sports’ biggest stage, but they’re here now. They’ve already made history, but their story is just beginning.”
The one-minute clip shows the girls in training sessions and at some points, wearing Powerbeats Wireless earphones and Beats headphones
