    CES 2026: What to Expect From the World’s Biggest Tech Show

    The new year brings the tech industry’s most anticipated event: CES 2026. This global showcase sets the tone for innovation and trends that will shape the next 12 months. Officially running January 6–9, the excitement begins earlier with pre-show events on Sunday, January 4, followed by a full slate of press conferences on Monday. As always, the Las Vegas Convention Center and surrounding hotels will host product demos, announcements, and networking opportunities.

    The CES 2026 Schedule: Key Highlights

    The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) has published a full directory of exhibitors and panels, but here’s a snapshot of the biggest early events:

    • Sunday, January 4
      • Samsung “The First Look”: TM Roh, CEO of Samsung’s DX Division, will unveil the company’s 2026 vision and AI-driven experiences.
      • CES Unveiled: A mini-show spotlighting startups and emerging tech.
    • Monday, January 5
      • LG Press Conference: “Innovation in Tune with You,” focusing on Affectionate Intelligence and lifestyle tech.
      • Bosch, Hisense, and Lego: New product announcements and first-time CES appearances.
      • NVIDIA Keynote (1 PM PT): CEO Jensen Huang will showcase AI-powered solutions across industries.
      • Hyundai: In-cabin car tech and robotics.
      • Intel (3 PM PT): Launch of Core Ultra Series 3 processors and AI PC innovations.
      • Sony Honda Mobility: Updates on the Afeela EV.
      • AMD Keynote: CEO Lisa Su to reveal next-gen chips and AI-driven performance.
    • Tuesday, January 6
      • Lenovo Tech World at The Sphere: CEO Yuanqing Yang will present Lenovo’s AI vision and possibly new Motorola foldables.

    Both Korean giants are teasing major announcements:

      • First Micro RGB TV with Intertek-certified color accuracy and advanced dimming zones.

    • Intel: Panther Lake chips debut, promising 50% performance gains and advanced AI capabilities.
    • Qualcomm: Snapdragon X2 Elite chips for laptops, boosting speed and AI performance.

    Display Wars: Brighter, Smarter Screens

    Expect a flood of new TV tech:

    • Samsung & LG: Micro RGB displays dominate the conversation.
    • Sony: Likely to debut “True RGB” LED backlight tech for brighter, more accurate colors, alongside new Bravia models and gaming monitors.
    • HDR Standards: Samsung rumored to showcase HDR10+ Advanced, rivaling Dolby Vision 2.
