    Canadian Firm1001 Squared Artificial Intelligence acquires Nigerian Startup QuickHelp

    1001 Squared Artificial Intelligence has acquired Nigerian AI-enabled chatbot and SMS-based directory service QuickHelp for an undisclosed amount.

    The Nigerian AI-enabled chatbot and SMS-based directory service which was  founded in 2015 by seven entrepreneurs: — Uche Goodness, Kayode Idowu, Olayande Biola, Fayemi David, Peter Laniran, Isaac Falade, and CEO Tosin Odubela has transferred its core technologies and intellectual property rights to Canadian social enterprise.

    According to Ventureburn, QuickHelp in a post said, “After sessions of intensive negotiations, the core technologies, intellectual property rights and associated technologies of the AI powered Nigerian Startup, QuickHelp Nigeria, has now been transferred to 1001 Squared Artificial Intelligence based in, Kingston, Canada in an acquire-hire/merger deal”.

    Also, 1001 Squared Artificial Intelligence in a Facebook post disclosing the acquisition said that it “was looking forward to working with the team to build great AI applications that change lives.”

    1001 Squared Artificial Intelligence employs Artificial Intelligence to improve the quality of education in underprivileged and under-served areas around the world.
