Brookfield Unveils $100B AI Fund with NVIDIA & KIA

Brookfield, one of the world’s largest owners and operators of digital infrastructure, has unveiled a $100 billion AI Infrastructure program aimed at powering the next generation of artificial intelligence. Anchored by the newly launched Brookfield Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Fund (BAIIF), the program will invest across the entire AI infrastructure value chain—from energy and land to data centers and compute systems.

The $10 billion equity fund, which already secured $5 billion in commitments from Brookfield, NVIDIA, and the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), will deploy capital alongside co-investors and financing to acquire up to $100 billion of AI infrastructure assets globally.

“AI is driving one of the largest infrastructure buildouts in history, comparable to the creation of modern power grids and global telecom networks—but unfolding faster and on a much larger scale,” said Sikander Rashid, Head of AI Infrastructure at Brookfield. “This dedicated AI program, in partnership with NVIDIA and other strategic partners, will deliver the critical infrastructure needed to scale AI at speed and efficiency for enterprises, governments, and technology firms worldwide.”

The program will focus on four verticals: AI Factories built on NVIDIA’s DSX Vera Rubin-ready design, dedicated behind-the-meter power solutions, compute infrastructure tailored for governments and large enterprises, and strategic partnerships across the AI ecosystem. BAIIF aims to invest in assets with strong contracted cash flows and highly creditworthy counterparties to ensure stable returns while supporting the global AI expansion.

NVIDIA will provide technical support for the AI factories and Radiant, Brookfield’s new AI cloud service, which will deliver full-stack AI infrastructure leveraging Brookfield’s global land, power, and data center assets. Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, said:

“AI is transforming every industry, and every nation will need the infrastructure to power it. Our partnership with Brookfield ensures enterprises and governments can deploy AI at scale, quickly and efficiently, using purpose-built supercomputing infrastructure.”

Brookfield has already secured a seed AI infrastructure investment with a $5 billion framework agreement with Bloom Energy to install up to 1 GW of behind-the-meter power solutions for data centers and AI factories. The fund has also announced landmark partnerships in France and Sweden, committing up to $30 billion to support national AI ambitions.

With this initiative, Brookfield positions itself as a global leader in the AI infrastructure ecosystem, offering integrated solutions to meet the growing demand for compute, power, and connectivity that will define the AI-driven future.
