Founded by Bridge for Billions, a company that manages, designs, and creates entrepreneurship programmes, has officially launched a Global Investors Network that aims to connect purpose-driven entrepreneurs with investment opportunities from around the globe.

They work hand in hand with entrepreneurs, companies, foundations, universities, and governments around the world to co-create innovation programs that are tailored to their needs. They have already developed more than 110 digital programs with public and private organizations, and have supported more than 1,500 entrepreneurs in 70 countries.

The new global network will connect participating entrepreneurs with training and investment opportunities to upscale and develop their business model. Entrepreneurs can sign up online for access to free workshops and more.

Pablo Santaeufemia, CEO and co-founder of Bridge for Billions explains that the much-needed network hopes to create a fruitful investment space for early-stage startups.

“Still today most of the world’s entrepreneurs face huge challenges accessing early-stage capital. The so-called talent gap is one of the key factors that the finance gap still exists today, it’s a chicken-egg situation. From Bridge for Billions, we are directly addressing the talent gap, providing access to business training and mentoring for early-stage entrepreneurs. Today we are taking a step forward in the next challenge but we need the entire investment community to help us resolve it.”

    Global Investors Network

The network will offer insightful bootcamp series, aiming to educate and empower entrepreneurs. Currently, the network includes an online global investment bootcamp series, held by leaders in investment, this series offers entrepreneurs expert advice on the world of investment.

This first series will be held in four different workshops and take place throughout the month of November 2020. Topics surrounding investment will be discussed such as how to target the right investors, developing a fundraising strategy, how early-stage startups can find the right public-private funding ecosystem and more.

All the workshops available through the new network are free and can be found online

    Early-stage startups

Not only are founders of early-stage startups connected to potential investors through the network but they are also provided with access to a wealth of education on fundraising and how to become investor-ready.

With several masterclasses running, entrepreneurs will be able to test the viability of their business in three months through an incubation programme held by Bridge for Billions, The Leap.

    Investors

For investors, the network will provide an opportunity to connect with over 1700 pre-seed and seed-stage startups from a wide range of sectors of innovation and varying regions.
