Binance Launches Junior App for Safe Crypto Savings for Kids

Binance has unveiled Binance Junior, a new family-focused crypto savings app designed to help children and teenagers—aged 6 to 17—build long-term financial literacy in a safe, parent-controlled environment. The launch marks one of Binance’s most significant steps yet toward creating digital finance tools for the next generation.

The platform allows parents to open and manage crypto savings sub-accounts for their children, giving young users controlled exposure to digital assets without allowing trading or access to high-risk features. Instead, Binance Junior focuses on saving, earning, and financial education, positioning itself as an early gateway into responsible digital finance.

A Controlled Pathway Into Digital Savings

Through Binance Junior, parents can fund their child’s account directly from their master account or through on-chain transfers. Young users can then earn rewards on their savings via Binance Flexible Simple Earn, but all trading activity is restricted to minimize risk.

For teenagers aged 13 and above, the app enables limited transfer capabilities—depending on local regulations—but with strict daily limits and full parental monitoring. Every transaction triggers a notification to the parent, who can disable or freeze the Junior account instantly if needed.

The goal, according to Binance, is to give families a safe entry point into digital assets while reinforcing healthy saving habits from an early age.

Preparing the Next Generation for a Digital Financial Future

Yi He, Binance’s co-CEO, emphasized the importance of equipping young people with financial literacy as digital assets continue to shape the global economy.

“Parents help their children face real-life challenges, where financial health and literacy are key. Binance Junior helps families build crypto wealth and savings responsibly and encourages healthy financial habits for the next generation.”

The product is designed for both crypto-savvy parents and those just beginning their digital finance journey. To ensure safety, transfers to non-parental adults are blocked, and all activity is overseen through a simplified parental dashboard.

Expanding Crypto Education With “ABC’s of Crypto”

As part of the broader initiative, Binance has also released “ABC’s of Crypto,” a self-published educational book that simplifies blockchain and digital asset concepts for families. The book breaks down key crypto terms into easy illustrations, encouraging parents and children to learn together.

With Binance Junior and its accompanying learning tools, Binance aims to create a more financially aware generation—one that understands digital money, security, and long-term wealth building from an early age.
